Nursing Care in a Super-Aging Society Changing with Med-Tech-Care Synergy (3) - Learning and Implementation at the Same Time -

Using cutting-edge science and technology, the initiative "Project CHANGE" has launched at the Nano Medical Innovation Center (iCONM) in Kawasaki City, aiming to create a society where anyone can provide care to those close to them. So far, three development tasks have been initiated under the guidance of experts in their respective fields: 1) a health monitoring sensing system, 2) gentle medical intervention technologies using bio I/O devices, and 3) smart nanomachines for diagnosing and controlling aging. However, merely creating these technologies is not enough; they must be appropriately utilized to achieve their full potential. Therefore, critical issues have been identified as "raising awareness and literacy among citizens and healthcare professionals" and "social implementation," with concrete proposals being examined in parallel.
